Dr Yingying Ren

Yingying Ren is from Shandong University, Jinan, China. After graduating with a BSc (Hons) in Physics from Shandong University in 2008, she started her work towards PhD degree in Shandong University, where her research project focused on ion implanted and swift heavy–ion irradiated waveguides in crystals. She is a visiting student within Nonlinear Optics group in Heriot-Watt University from September 2011 to August 2012. During this time, her research area is “The investigation of femtosecond laser written waveguides on laser crystals”.
