Dr John McCarthy

John graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Physics from Heriot-Watt University in 2006, and an MSc degree in Photonics & Optoelectronic Devices from Heriot-Watt and St Andrews Universities in 2007. He is currently studying towards a PhD focusing on fibre and waveguide continuum sources in the mid-infrared.
